Main Street Gallery is located in Leland Michigan, a small town in the northwest part of the state, situated directly on Lake Michigan. Located only 350 miles from Chicago and 300 miles from Detroit, Main Street Gallery was established in 1988 and represents many of Northern Michigan's finest artists. The gallery displays all original art including metal sculpture, oil and acrylic painting, pastels, watercolors, woodcarvings and glass.

Bill Allen
Bill Allen is a nationally known metal sculptor whose work depicts unusual animals and insects and sometimes a combination of both. His sculptures are very durable outdoor art, crafted of welded steel, galvanized with a zinc coating and finished in copper. He also has indoor pieces which are hand-painted in bright, beautiful colors.

Al Rollings
With unique driftwood sculptures of birds and fish, Al Rollings' knowledge of the anatomical proportions have produced wonderful carvings sensitive to the interpretations of the creations of nature.

Doug Racich
A self taught watercolor artist, Doug Racich has an incredibly realistic view of the buildings and landscapes throughout Northwest Michigan that he chooses as the subjects of his works. With suburb detail and accuracy, it's no surprise that Doug has acquired numerous midwestern awards, most recently acceptance to the Top 100 Works at "The Arts in the Park" annual competition.

A creator of unusual oil pastel and gold leaf painting, Margaret White's subject matter is that of a whimsical mixture of faces and patterns created through the use of multiple imaging, color and the character of edge.

As an oil painter with a focus on interiors, Mr. White's paintings express strong color statements incorporated with simple forms, symbols of the home and everyday objects presented in a familiar environment.

Tobin Sprout
Tobin Sprout is a photo-realist painter. His realist paintings and sculptures involve thorough reproduction of detail, resulting in nearly photographic work. He also dabbles in creative folk art.

Phil Krzeminski
A native Michigander, Phil Krzeminski has been drawing, painting and photographing since childhood. He exclusively uses pastels as his medium and works with large areas of flattened color, often within a compressed sense of space.

Kris Love
Kris Love has been making up pictures since early childhood. Growing up in Texas and now living in Michigan, Love is influenced by the imagery and environments of both places. Paintings are based on nature, but mixed up. The landscapes are often imaginary, and the animals and plants don't always come from the same continent.

Malcolm Chatfield
A Leelanau County resident, Malcolm Chatfield is both a photographer and painter inspired by his surroundings. He has owned and operated Main Street Gallery for 19 years, showcasing an eclectic collection of local artists. Ernie Carrick
Ernie Carrick is known for his beautiful wood turning. His work compliments the texture and uniqueness of the original piece of wood. Each piece is finished with natural oils to preserve and bring out the grain.
