Kenny La Roche is a group artist with an Alchemical mindset. La Roche uses stone, steel and wood to suggest that everything rises - things begin at the bottom, but follow a plan of ascension and transformation. His Ascender pieces represent Rocks with a Goal. The frame and the wrap of the steel bind the rock to the bottom world of matter and weight, but the rock wants to rise.
