Joan Gallagher Richmond

 
 

Focusing on, but not limited to, landscape images, Joan Richmond uses a variety of paint materials - acrylic, gouache, casein, Flashe - when she works in open air and in studio. Direct observation of nature is an essential part of Richmond’s creative process, and she has painted in areas of Michigan, along the west coast of Ireland, the North Channel in Canada, Southern Arizona and Rome, Italy.
