Mary Beth Rollings

I am motivated by the darks and lights of nature. Shadows, sunshine, storms and moonlight illuminate landscapes and set up visuals that beg to be interpreted on canvas. The Leelanau Peninsula is the perfect stage for my work. The drama of the dunes, lakes, forests and the changing weather conditions provide endless subjects for my paintings.
