E.J. Fitzpatrick

E.J. has been a resident of Leelanau County since 2005, after many summer visits from Ohio going back to her childhood. Although an art career was deferred while she was raising her family, painting was always her goal. Several courses at Toledo Museum of Art and Cleveland Institute of Art sustained her interest until she found a mentor in Roland Huston, a graduate of the Cincinnati Academy of Art. She studied with him over a ten-year period and for two years with Mark Echtner, Chair of Sinclair College’s Art Department in Dayton, Ohio before her move to Leland.
